j.dla's first single in which it samples the song “Fukashigi No Karte” in Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai the anime. This song was written during the pandemic as he was reintroduced into anime again. He fell in love with the storyline and OST and joined a discord server to show his interest in the show. During this time, it was not viral among his friends and was only known to those who have previously been into anime. He believes he was one of the first few artists at the time to have done this.
j.dla's first ever official album, it showcases Pop/R&B/Hip-hop and Rap. This is his starting point where he told myself that he has started this journey and that he will never stop. This album was made for high school students, as he was a Junior (11th grader) when he created this album. This is the album where he can tell everyone, “Here's my talent, and I did this all by myself!”
This EP showcases the fun and bright, playful experience you get during a nice spring or summer day. Whether by new trends or memes and video games, I wanted to be able to create a song for myself to enjoy blasting in my car rides. The cover was hand drawn by Melbyroo and edited to fit the vibes of the soundtracks. This EP is heavily influenced by anime and one of those appreciation gifts that I wanted to give to the Anime Community.
This album is j.dla's first album where he attempts to produce songs purely in the Pop genre. This album means a lot to him because his father was stationed in South Korea during his early childhood days. His family would visit often and a big part of his childhood memories resides in South Korea. The album cover has j.dla, as a child, in the Province of Paju City.
